The first project Debbie wanted to share is this stunning altered paper bag. It's made to be hung on the wall. She desatured the angel image to match her own shabby chic decor. She then added Prima resin wings and heart to the little angel. The bows are made with inexpensive cheesecloth and muslin, giving it an ethereal feel...The word 'love' and its definition is a sticker that she made into a tag. Once hanging on the wall, the bag can be filled with dried flowers; it could also be used in your home office to hold your bills or in the kitchen for plastic bags, etc.

Next, she created this mini 'thought of the day' clipboard. She printed the image in a sepia tone to give it a more vintage feel and added a digital 'woven' effect to give it the appearance of fabric. The board is made of 5x7 chipboard. Other accents include altered clothespins, lace and twine bows. She added magnets to the back of the board and uses in on the refrigerator for daily quotes and reminders. It's so sweet, don't you think?

Debbie says she likes the kit because she can do so much with it besides journals. She finds that she doesn't have to add alot of embellishments because the digital papers are already filled with beautiful images that she doesn't want to cover up. She's not short on great ideas either. Debbie is always creating something unique over on her Facebook page Serendipitous Designs and sharing tips and projects at Scrappy Diva's also. I hope you'll pop on over there and have a look!
I am thrilled with the first projects she has designed. I hope you find them inspiring and that they spark your creativity!
