Creative Team Project Feature - Extra Large Zig Zag Tag by Debbie B.

Debbie Buchanan has another great project to share with you, featuring the Ephemera's Heartsong journal kit. This time, she shows how you can alter the colours of an image with the help of a editing program such as picmonkey.com.   She changed the papers and elements to a sepia tone and added a tattered paper texture, to give it all a vintage feel.

The tag was then decorated with papers to form pockets in a zig zag pattern, and then stuffed with the cards, tags and embellishments included in the set.  Extra embellishments that were used include raffia, twine, flat back pearls and 7 Gypsies pins.

Have a look at this slideshow to see how gorgeous this project turned out to be:

This work of art could be displayed on a stand or hung with magnets, etc.  The tags could be used for journaling or as mini photo mats.  It would make a great personalised gift with photos added, or with a gift card tucked inside a pocket or envelope.

I'm a huge fan of all things grungy, shabby and distressed so I love that she transformed this particular kit in this way.  This project could also be done in the original bright colours, but this tone brings it all together really well!

Thanks for showing us yet another fantastic idea, Debbie!
