'Heart Journaling' Series - Journal Page #1

Hi lovelies! As I mentioned last week, I started an art journaling series on YouTube.  In case you're interested in following along, here's the first page, entitled 'My Beloved':

I love creating simple pages and trying out techniques I've learned from other artists.  I'm challenging myself to play for the sake of playing and I'd love it if you joined me. If that sounds like fun to you, I'll see you there!

  1. Hi Debbie-Anne! I really enjoyed that and I also need to LET GO! I am going to start up my own art journal even though I cannot draw stick people but I think you're right about the whole experience and just letting go. I too felt the anxiety as you got ready to do the drops and drips from the pipette. LOL It turned out well. Thanks again and thank you for your 'freebies' week after week.

  2. You're welcome Marianne, thank you for watching. Letting go takes courage to face the page and jump in. And you'll find out that there is no mistake that can't be fixed on a journal page and that they are in fact happy accidents!

  3. Thank you for sharing this. I don't consider myself a very good art journalling person myself, but I do enjoy it. I think I get too carried away. I loved it. Thanks.

  4. I too get caught up in the 'perfection' mode & forget to just play. Does makes it easier when you remove the safety net of the undo button:)

Love how this page turned out!

  5. I just spent some time watching this video series and learned a lot. It was very enjoyable. Thank you so much for all you do.

Thanks for taking the time to leave a comment. I apologize in advance if time escapes me and I don't reply to each comment, but I read each and every one and they really make my day!
